NE Lincs (Grimsby)

East Midlands

North East Lincolnshire, located on the Humber, offers a fabulous combination of town and country.  We are honoured to be hosts of the Armed Forces Day National Event 2016.

Grimsby, a port town famous for its maritime heritage, boasts the largest shopping centre in Lincolnshire and is proud to be the home of the offshore wind industry – at the heart of the UK's Energy Estuary.

Cleethorpes, a coastal resort with 4 miles of superb sandy beach,  vibrant evening economy, traditional amusements and leisure activities for families.

Immingham, combined with Grimsby, is part of the UK’s busiest Port complex and has historic connections to the pilgrim fathers.

Wold villages forming part of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” and strong component of the visitor attraction offer.

The Coastal Community Team, CoastNEL, aims to build on North East Lincolnshire’s reputation as a desirable destination to work, stay & play.  A place to have a career not just a job, a home not just a house and a place to thrive and enjoy life.

To create a sense of place for the community, create a cultural identity and be a place that aspires for more.
