Clevedon is a lovely coastal town, ideally located just off Junction 20 of the M5, with the country’s only Grade I listed pier an iconic symbol of the town. it is situated on the Bristol Channel coast, offering coastal walks along its pebbled shoreline  being part of the England Coastal Path.


  • There are great restaurants and cafes with a good range of shops many of whom are independent.

  • “The Curzon” is one of the oldest long running independent community cinemas. “

  • The Balmoral” cruises from the Pier during the summer months down the Somerset and Devon coast to Wales.

The town is a popular location for filming. Most notably it has doubled as the fictional Dorset town of Broadchurch in the award winning ITV drama series and as the setting for One Direction’s Brit Awards-winning music video “You and I.” The Town hosts several events including the Tides Festival, a music and arts celebration of Clevedon’s link to the sea and a popular flower show

The Coastal Community Team includes the Town & District Council, representatives from business Traders in the town, Civic Society, The Pier Trust & Curzon Cinema plus Community groups working together to realise the potential of the town.
