"Seeking to build alliances and common purpose around the coast of Britain, with a particular focus on socio-economic challenges, having its original locus on the Lincolnshire Coast and whilst developing a national focus, being derived from the best practice and innovative thinking nested within the East Midlands Coastal Action Zone."
 

Commitment to the Lincolnshire Coast

• The Alliance will ensure that it operates a balanced programme and will be the custodian of the Coastal Regeneration Programme, which delivers our priorities as well as those of our partners.
• The Alliance will make a commitment to advocacy with central government matters of "Coastal Proofing" emerging legislation, impacting on both the Lincolnshire and British Coast
• Through the National Coastal Communities Alliance this approach will address the coastal communities and their hinterland.

Our Priorities

• Current barriers to economic growth (Physical infrastructure, skills and industry structure)
• The threat of coastal inundation
• The consequences of deprivation (health, neighbourhood/community cohesion and pressure on local services)
• Managing and exploiting the tourism legacy
• Lobbying and influencing on a national platform
